Two Ways of Knowing Power
Every decision we make starts with an understanding of power. The dictionary might give us just one definition of “power,” but in reality, there are two very different types at play.
This blog is all about spotting linear and circular power in everyday life — how each shows up at work, in politics, in relationships, and even in your favourite TV shows. We’ll break down what makes each type of power tick, when to use which one, and how learning to switch between them can open up fresh ways to solve real-world problems.
The concepts that we will explore are based on the framework laid out in my second book, The Bridge: Connecting the Powers of Linear and Circular Thinking.
